"I want go home for supper"

This morning Aria was contently playing when she looked up at me and said, "mommy, I want go home for supper". She said similar words yesterday, so I think she is really missing Belleville and everyone there. Although she enjoys being here and has fun with everyone, I think she is still adjusting to being in a new place. It's sometimes difficult to know how to answer her, as we realize she is getting older and understanding more and more. I answered her by saying, "Aria, home is wherever you, Nina, Mama, and Papa are". She seemed satisfied with my answer, although I don't know if she fully understood it. I'm sure when it comes time to leave Germany, she will really miss being here too.

At times, David and I so do wish that we had a place, a permanent place, that our children could call home. Perhaps that is why I'm anxious to get to T-land and do my best at making a home for them and David. Yet, that won't be a permanent home either. But really, this world is not our home. My focus needs to be on getting our children ready for their eternal home!

When we left Belleville, we had to leave behind a baby doll that Aria really enjoyed playing with. We thought about taking it along, but once we saw how much space it took up in the suitcase, we decided against it. She was quite sad to leave it. Well, just today someone gave her a nice baby doll to play with and she really likes it! I'm very thankful to Him for caring so much about a little girl that He gives her a doll to play with. I'm sure He loves to see her smile, just like we do. :)
