The suitcases are once again being put into use! Yes, sadly enough, the time has come for us to move on. We are just so thankful for the last three months we were able to have here in PA. We have had such wonderful times with our family and were able to visit and reconnect with many friends. Of course, there are many more friends that we would have liked to have visitted with, but maybe next time. :) It was also a treat being able to enjoy some of the tasty foods of the States, such as cheddar cheese, peanut butter, brown sugar, cream cheese, the list could go on and on!
In the last several weeks, we have often been asked the question, "are you ready to go"? We usually respond with, "yes, we are ready to 'get going' as we know that is what we are to do, yet we are never ready to leave our family". David and I both think that has to be THE most difficult aspect of our work... always saying 'good-bye' to our loved ones. Yet, we are so thankful that we have loved ones to say 'good-bye' to! We look forward to that day when 'good-byes' will be said no more! :)
This evening we made our last Wal-mart trip! I think that we are now stocked-up on ziploc bags, medicine, and clothes for the next several years. I sure hope that we haven't forgotten anything, yet if so, we will just do without. :)
We plan on leaving this Monday evening for Europe, where we are planning on spending the next several months with David's family. We are really looking forward to seeing all of our family and friends there! We would appreciate your thoughts for us as we travel and transition to our next culture and language. Hopefully the girls will be able to catch-up with their German while we are there! :)
