A couple of days ago, we purchased our plane tickets to return to Asia! We found a really good deal... we just hope the airline is dependable. :D Now, we are just waiting for our Letters of Invitation to come, and then we will go to a nearby Embassy and apply for our visas. The LOIs are supposedly coming this week or next... hopefully!!!
Our time here in Germany is winding down fast. We keep looking at the calendar, trying to rearrange our schedule so that everything fits in. Our to-do list keeps getting shorter, so that's a good feeling. We hope to be able to do some fun family things this week and next, and then save the last week for packing and spending time with family.
Aria is becoming more and more 'fluent' in German. It's really fun to see (or rather, hear!). Before I met David, I never imagined that my children would one day talk to me in German! I'm just thankful that I know enough German to understand what Aria is telling me. For example, she will say, "mama, I want wasser" or "I want potty machen". Even though she may talk to me in German, I do my best to always answer her in English. Right now, it seems like she is mixing the two languages, but hopefully in the near future, she will just talk to me in English, and David in German. We'll see!
