This evening before bedtime, Aria went to Nina, grabbed her hand, and said, "come"! A bunch of giggles followed as they walked hand in hand throughout our little apartment. This afternoon, we took Aria to the doctor's. We had an appointment for Monday morning at our children's doctor, but we decided that we didn't want to wait until then for her to get checked. Since today is Saturday, the doctor's offices are closed. Yet, all the doctors in the region take turns being open on the weekends. That way, there is always a doctor available in case someone gets sick. We had to drive a little ways to see the doctor this afternoon, but it was well worth the trip. She diagnosed Aria with a bad middle ear infection. We were able to get antibiotics, and hopefully in a couple of days, Aria will be feeling better. Funny, Aria didn't complain at all about her ear hurting. We took her to the doctors because she has been having high fevers for the last couple of days. We are so thankful that we took her to the doctors today, and hope that she will feel better soon! (It's just so nice to be in a place where doctors and medicine are readily available. It's a lot more scary for us when our children get sick in Asia.)
