The past couple of days...

We have been having an enjoyable couple of days catching-up with our co-workers that arrived on Thursday. What a privilege it is to be able to work together with them here! The girls are absolutely enjoying playing with their three children. It's so fun seeing them all together. Yesterday evening, we went to a park in the city and enjoyed some time being together outside. We had a little picnic while we were there, which was nice. This morning, we had a nice time of fellowship together... something we've really been missing this past month and a half while we've been here by ourselves.

Here are just a few recent photos of our little treasures.

They love taking care of their 'babies'.

There's more than one way to eat a sandwich...

Here are some cute things the girls said this past week that made me laugh.

Nina was getting ready to climb up on the window sill, something she knows she's not allowed to do, when I told her "no, Nina". She just looked at me and smiled. I then told her that if she would climb up on the window sill, she would be disobeying mommy. She then got down, looked at me and in a high pitched voice said, "mommy?" and then as she said, "ouchy?" she proceeded to smack her bottom with her hand. (She didn't climb up on the window sill!)
I made soup one day for lunch this past week, and seasoned it with a bay leaf. When we were eating lunch, I thought I'd see what Aria would say when she saw a 'leaf' in the soup. So, I showed Aria the leaf, and said, "Aria, there's a leaf in our soup!" She looked surprised and then said in an excited voice, "Mommy, Nina did that!"
