Well, last night I caught the stomach bug. I’ll just say, it was NOT fun or pretty, and I woke-up quite exhausted. Thankfully, David was feeling better and the girls were fine, so I spent a good part of the day in bed. Our poor baby must have been so hungry, but s/he just had crackers and a banana to eat today, as I couldn’t handle much more. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll all be feeling better!
I don’t think we’ve seen sunshine for at least a week now. It’s just been so dreary and cloudy outside. We were told that that’s what it’s like here in the winter, so I guess we better get used to it. With the days getting shorter and shorter, it can get pretty depressing looking outside. I guess we’ll just have to do our best to keep things bright and cheery inside! :D
This past week, it has been quite chilly in our apartment. As our heat is under a central heating system here in the city, we have no thermostat or control over how hot or cold it gets. The heaters we have in each room seem to be cold or lukewarm most of the day. We are hoping that something is just not working quite right and they’ll get fixed soon. Hopefully this is not a permanent situation, as it is supposed to get even colder come the middle of November! At least we have plenty of wool socks and long johns! :D
