We find it very interesting that all of us can be healthy for several months, and then right before we are planning on traveling, someone gets sick. That has happened the last several times we traveled, and this time is no exception. Usually it was Aria who was sick, but this time, Nina is taking her turn. The past several days, she has had a nasty cough, runny nose, and hoarse voice. Last night, she was running a fever. She hasn't gotten very much sleep the last several nights, as she just coughs or can't breath very well. (I think last night, David and I took turns getting up with her about every hour.) Poor girl. We have been giving her medicine, which seems to help some, but it's still not fun for her. We sure do hope that she gets better before we plan on beginning our travels on Monday, and that everyone else stays healthy.
Just because Nina doesn't feel very well, doesn't mean she isn't funny! Yesterday, I fried up some potatoes for lunch, and they were a nice, crispy brown. I put some on her plate, and she just stared at it for a while. Then she looked up at me and, while shaking her head, said, "mommy, these are all dirty"!
