Our "Half-Way" Celebration

Today was a day of celebration for us! :-) What were we celebrating???

Today marks three weeks that Micah has had his cast on. "Only" three more weeks to go! We are half way there! :-)

How did we celebrate?

Well, this morning, Aria and Nina played with their Oma, while David and I took our little guy to the Doctor's. Our orthopedic specialist was very pleased with how good Micah's cast looks and encouraged us to "keep going". (Did I ever mention before how much I like this doctor? If not, I'll mention it now. I really like this Doctor!) Then we had a delicious lunch prepared by Oma, and returned home so our children could get some good naps! After everyone woke-up, we went to a local animal park. The girls really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the different animals. And of course, we had to spend some time on the playground too!

Of course, all this looking at animals and playing on the playground made us hungry! Good thing there was a McDonald's nearby! :-)

How did Micah celebrate? Well, I'm not too sure he even knew what was going on!
