Our two little girls have a fascination with airplanes. I guess that is to be expected, since they have already traveled quite a bit by air. Yet, perhaps it's not the 'norm' for girls to like them so much. A while back, David went to a toy store in order to buy a couple of puzzles for the girls. He asked one of the workers about what kind of puzzles they had. She showed him many puzzles, with pictures of animals, children playing, etc. Yet one puzzle caught David's eye in particular. It was an airplane puzzle! The lady right away said that he shouldn't get that one, as airplanes are for boys, not girls. David's response was, "You don't know my girls! They love airplanes!"
As we are planning on traveling again in a couple of weeks, we have been talking more and more about airplanes. Early this morning, I found the girls playing in the tupperware drawer. When I asked them what they were doing, they responded with, "we're going in the airplane"!
