Pre-school Biology :)

Whenever we go outside, the girls and I like to try and find new and interesting things in nature. Sometimes we find a different type of mushroom, other times we see a spider or a bug. But last week, we found something SO neat! Snails!

On our little walk outside, we came across a place just covered with these little creatures. The girls just thought they were the neatest thing, as they would slowly come out of their 'houses' and start moving. Every time we are outside now, Aria wants to go and see the snails. Last evening, we brought two inside our apartment in order to observe more closely. We looked on the internet to find out what snails eat... plants and fruit. So, we gave our two little pets some plant leaves and a slice of apple. Today, the girls were thrilled when they saw the snails eating the apple. It is so much fun watching the girls learn about new things!
