Me: No Nina, I'm not going to kiss your tongue. That's yucky!
Nina: (crying louder) Kiss it!
Me: No!
Nina: (crying even louder) Kiss it!
Me: Oh, all right.
She then held out her tongue while I 'quickly' kissed it. She then went happily back to playing.

Yesterday, Micah received his last immunizations before we leave. The girls were with us when he got his shots, and so they saw him cry and knew that he had "ouchie". This morning, while I was changing his diaper, Nina began saying, "Micah crying. He has ouchie". (I had totally forgotten about his shots the day before, and Micah was not crying.) "No Nina, Micah doesn't have ouchie. He's happy", I said. But Nina insisted that he had ouchie. It was then that I realized he still had his two bandaids on, covering where he had gotten the shots. So, I quickly removed them, and then Nina was all happy. She then cheerfully said, "There, Micah. All better!" (I guess she thinks 'ouchies' go away as soon as the bandaids are removed!)

Yeah for mommies who are willing to kiss every boo-boo :) Hoping that all of the packing and sorting is going well!
