Ready to go!

We are now ready to go! Yesterday, after driving 7 hours, dealing with a broken-down vehicle, and 10 minutes at the Embassy, the girls were written into David’s visa! Now they can go with us. :D We were able to switch our tickets for tomorrow, the same flight, time, everything. And, we just had to pay a little bit extra per ticket to do so. We are SO very thankful for how everything worked out so smoothly!

You know, we are really thankful for these two extra days that he has given to us. We finished cleaning and moved out of the apartment on Saturday, and have been staying in David’s parents’ basement. On Sunday, after the morning meeting, we were with family until late in the evening. Honestly, we were quite exhausted after it was all over. So, it’s actually been a blessing for us to have these two extra days of rest. We are all ready to go, so we have just been relaxing. Last week was pretty busy for us as we were cleaning and packing, and we were not able to spend as much quality time with the kids. By Sunday evening, Aria was pretty exhausted, and was not at ALL wanting to go on an airplane the next day. It’s been nice being able to spend lots of time with the kids and I think they are now a lot more relaxed and ready for our trip. (Today, Aria is very excited about getting on an airplane tomorrow!) After experiencing stress last week, it does my body good to rest and relax too, as Micah needs to eat! We are so, so thankful for how he cares for us, and for how he gave us these 2 days of rest. He is so wonderful!

So, yes, we are now all rested, all ready, and looking forward to begin our trip home tomorrow (that is, if that’s what he wants :D )!
