After another good nights sleep (although kinda short :D), we are spending the day with our friends (click on the Wandering Family at the right), and preparing for the train ride. I'm doing some laundry, and David will be making a quick trip to the store. I made up a shopping list for David, and he just said, "remember, I have to carry all this stuff back!" He's not sure if he'll be able to find everything, but hopefully the most important things! Here is the shopping list that I made for him for our train ride:
toilet paper
baby wipes
pampers
bottled water
tea bags
peanut butter (big question mark on this one)
jelly
bread
cheese
Russian sausage
soup packages
apples
bananas
crackers
Instant Oatmeal
baby cereal
napkins
6 plastic knives and spoons
4 plastic cups
5 plastic bowls
Since we knew that we would possibly traveling to Siberia by train, I have been collecting different toys the past several months. Incredibly enough, all the things I have for the girls to play with were given to us! So nice! Here is a list of some of the things I have saved for this train ride.
High Five magazines (from the makers of Highlight magazines... just for younger kids. A subscription to this magazine was the absolutely best gift my mom could have ever gotten for the girls! They absolutely love them, and can read them over and over, not to mention that they are very educational! I'm taking along all their old ones, and mom sent me 4 new ones!)
various sticker books
puzzles
little toy cars
coloring books
notebook paper
colored pencils
markers
stickers
paint-by-number pictures
Hopefully this will help keep them from getting too bored! Oh, and we also are hoping that it won't be too hot! Our co-workers just recently were on a train, and it was VERY hot! Oh well, if it is hot, we won't go through too many clothes! :) Well, I better get back to my little family. Like I mentioned before, we are planning on arriving home around noon time on Tuesday. Yet, it may take us a little while before we can get connected to the internet. Thanks for remembering us, and I'll do my best to post as soon as I can once we reach home. Have a great weekend, everyone! :)

Looks like a good list! What about a potty? We had to buy one in Kursky Vokzal once. :-)
Happy half-birthday Micah! (By the way, what name does he go by there?)
Thanks for the helpful lists. We will refer to them the next time we hit the train.
