Today was the city's birthday! We were disappointed though, in that it wasn't celebrated as much as we thought it would be. We asked many people what activities would be taking place, and nobody seemed to know. This afternoon, we went into the city's center to see for ourselves, and there were lots of people, but nothing interesting was happening. Oh well. We got a nice walk in! :) Anyway, Happy Birthday, Kyzyl!

We were able to get all our registration completed yesterday (David worked on it from 8:30am until 4:30pm!). So now, we are allowed to stay here for three years! Please be thinking with us that our co-workers will also receive this visa. Hopefully, within the next couple of weeks, we will know!
