Yesterday afternoon

Several weeks ago while we were outside, I met a 16-year old girl, Diana. She had heard me speaking to the kids in English, and, since she enjoys learning English, she came over and began talking with me. We had met several times after that, as we are usually outside when she comes home from school. The other day, I invited her to come over Saturday (yesterday) afternoon. She quickly agreed, and, while we sipped tea and ate cookies, (and were entertained by the kids), we had a nice time chatting together. I would appreciate you keeping her in your thoughts. It would be great to be able to spend some more time with her... hopefully we can.

While Diana was visitting with me and the kids, David was having a meeting with a couple of German translators/teachers. They asked David if he would come to the university's German class and just spend time talking with the students in German, since they need the practice. He won't do this very often, just several times in the next few months. But, we are so excited about this! Hopefully this will be a good opportunity for us to get to meet some more people. Also, the professor who teaches the German class would like to brush-up on his German. He and David are planning on spending time together, and they will help eachother. David will help him with German, and he will help David with Tuvan! We aren't exactly sure how it will all work out, but it is a start!

The other day as I was holding Micah and putting his coat on, Nina sat down in his stroller. Aria, being the big sister that she is, went to Nina and said, "Nina, you get out of that stroller. Micah needs to sit in it because, because, because, because... he doesn't have legs!"
