It's Saturday morning.
The laundry is waiting to be hung up to dry.
The dishes are waiting to be washed.
The floors are waiting to be cleaned.
A dessert is waiting to be made.
It all can just wait a little bit longer.
My little boy is in my arms, fast asleep.
I touch his soft blond curls and kiss his sweet little head.
Is anything more precious than this?
There will always be clothes to clean,
There will always be clothes to clean,
dishes to wash, floors to scrub, food to be made.
But there will not always be a little boy to cuddle as he sleeps in my arms.
So I am treasuring this moment now.
Everything else can wait.
