We woke-up to a beautiful snow fall! Of course, we had to go outside to enjoy it, and that's when we realized that it felt SO warm! Another mom I talked to said it was -9 degrees C! No wonder it felt so warm! :)
I was able to talk to a friend/neighbor whom I haven't seen all winter.
Our future co-workers left to return to Moscow. It was great having them here and we look forward to them moving here this summer!
While David fed the kids lunch and put them down for their afternoon naps, I met my language helper and her husband at the museum. It had just opened last spring, and I haven't had the opportunity to see it yet. I'm not much of a 'museum person', but I must say, I really enjoyed my time there. Yet, perhaps it was who I was with that made it so fun. My helper's husband really likes museums and history, so he had a lot to say. They would talk in Tuvan, and then my helper would do her best to explain things to me in English. The Tuvans have such a unique and rich culture. It was really interesting and I really enjoyed that time with my language helper and her husband. I'm glad it worked out that I could finally go!
And most importantly, Davi'ds brother, Artur married his sweetheart! Oh, how we wished we could have been there to celebrate with them in person! We were definitely thinking about them all throughout the day. Artur und Irina, Herzlichen Glückwunsch!!! :)
