Friday

We woke-up to a very dreary, rainy day. It doesn't rain too often here in T-land, so it was very refreshing seeing the rain falling. And I'm positive that we saw some snow flurries mixed in with that rain as well! So, I was glad for the sunshine this afternoon, as I don't want it to get cold again. Mainly for the reason that I've already washed all of our winter coats, and don't want to have to re-wash them! (Hmm... sounds like I'm lazy!)

Here are a couple of funny things I heard the kids say today...

(while playing hide-and-go-seek this morning)
Aria: Mommy, we are going to go in the kitchen and hide under the table, and then you come and look for us!

Me: Hmmm, I wonder where my children could be hiding???
Aria and Nina: Here we are!!!

Aria: Mommy, don't start counting yet! (pause) O.k. You can start counting now!

(after bathtime)
Aria: Mommy, can I flush the bathtub? (Meaning, can I let the water out?)
Nina: Mommy, we need to brush our teeths!

Here is what I caught Micah "chewing" on this afternoon...

an old piece of chewing gum from the trash can! (Yuck!) How can I keep that guy away from that place??? I do NOT know!

And here is what I saw today...

a little boy taking more and more steps on his own!


After I finished the supper dishes, I went to see what the kids were up to. I found Aria and Nina like this and quickly took a picture. Very precious. :)
