Getting ready for Guests! :)

Today was a busy day getting ready for our guests who are arriving tomorrow! One of David's aunts and uncles, along with 2 of his cousins are coming to visit us! We are really looking forward to seeing them and spending time together! Even though David wasn't feeling very well today, he left for the 6 hour drive over the mountains in order to meet them at the train station first thing tomorrow morning. So, while David was on his way to meet them, the kids and I did some baking, cleaning, playing, bed-making, and finishing up preparations for our guests! :)

This morning, I was so blessed to have a beautiful pink princess balerina help me do some baking!

Little Micah hasn't been feeling very well today (just like his papa). :( Many full diapers and not much of an appetite. He didn't want to eat any lunch, and so I put him down for an early nap. He woke-up while the girls were still napping, so I did my best to keep him quiet so they could sleep. He was 'helping' me make some Zwiebach. We tried to make them like Oma does, but... I guess I'll need to practice some more. :)

Aria enjoys looking out of our balcony at the children playing outside or on their balconies. Aria will often call to the children and they will talk back and forth (although, they definitely don't understand each other... but that doesn't matter :D). Often, if I'm on the balcony, I'll hear a little voice calling, "Aria, Nina"! I'll look up, and there will be a little head peaking up from one of the above balconies and we'll exchange greetings. Today, Aria was talking with a little girl on the 2nd floor balcony. They were showing eachother their toys and chatting back and forth. Very cute!
After playing together outside for a while this afternoon, one of the neighbor girls came inside to play for a bit. She knows that I'm learning how to speak Tuvan, and so she was drilling me on different words. Russian doesn't come very easy to her, so she would often switch to Tuvan. Definitely good practice for me! Perhaps she should come and live with us! :)
