Outdoor family time

Several times this past week, after all the tasks of the day were done, we spent the evenings outdoors. Since we know it will soon be getting colder, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather. One evening, we packed some sandwiches and went to a nearby lake for a little picnic supper.

Several days later, we went to a different lake where David did some fishing. After several minutes, he had caught a good-sized fish! The kids were so excited!

We had the little guy for a late supper, and he sure was yummy!

Saturday afternoon, we went up into the mountains and let the kids play in the snow for a bit. They loved it!

And, our traditional Sunday afternoon walk in the park. It's so nice to be outdoors!
