Hello everyone! :)
We are thankful that our little ones seem to be getting better! At first, the doctor thought that Micah had 'whooping cough' or pertussis (you were right, Shawna!). Yet, his blood test results showed that he has a 'cousin' of whooping cough, known as 'para-pertussis'. The treatment is pretty much the same, this illness is just perhaps a little milder than the actual whooping cough itself. We are thankful that Micah really hasn't needed to take any of the strong cough medicine which the doctor gave us. The antibiotics seem to be helping him the most right now. He doesn't cough much at all anymore, and he sleeps through the night! What a blessing! Nina's cough is going away too, and so far, Aria seems totally unaffected by it. We are thankful!!!
This week, we are hoping to be able to put Aria (and maybe Nina too) into one of the local kindergartens. The leader of the kindergarten where the girls are going to go was on vacation the past two weeks. Plus, the kids were sick. So hopefully we can get them into morning kindergarten this week. We have already seen (or rather heard) improvements in their German just from them being with others. Yet, we are sure that kindergarten will really boost their ability in German. They are really excited about going too!
Oh, and I think that David and I have finally decided on names for our twins! It took us a whole evening to decide on the names, but it actually wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. It was quite fun! I guess it helps that David and I like the same kinds of names... for the most part. :)
