As Heidi grows and puts on weight, she is getting stronger and stronger. Slowly, but surely, she is able to eat more and more on her own. This means she doesn't need the feeding tube as much any more. Also, she has stopped spitting up so much. Yeah! All the nurses refer to her as 'the small one', as she was about 500 grams smaller than Hanna at birth. Yet, she reached her birth weight last week, and as Hanna is still not quite at her birth weight yet, they are closer in weight now than they were at birth. Heidi is such a little fighter, and is doing so well! We can't wait to bring her home... but it will most likely be a couple more weeks yet.

Hey you guys, just want to say Congratulations from the bottom of my heart. I am so happy for you!
I sure am thinking about you as a family and especially Heidi that she soon may be able to join you at home. These two little girls are so blessed to be part of your famiy.

I was offline for a couple of days, so only now checking in. So thrilled with their progress. I'm so excited that Hanna will (hopefully) be coming home Monday and that Heidi is gaining well. Go girls!

Great pics and so happy that they are doing well! But dont forget to take care of yourself, too Christy! those c-sections can wear a person out too....I had 3. Recovery is just a little longer! Hoping you can all be together by the holiday!
