Nina's in kindergarten!

Today was Nina's first day in kindergarten! A space opened up, and so she is also able to go now. Nina was just SO excited to go, and Aria was just SO proud that her sister is going to be in kindergarten now too! The girls are in two different groups, but the groups are right beside each other. So, they each have their own teacher and classmates. Yet whenever both groups are outside at the same time, they can play together. Nina is in a group with one of her second cousins, so that makes it extra special for her. Her cousin, Loraine, played with her today and took care of her. Very sweet. Nina's teacher said that she did very well today. Nina just loves it! Aria also really enjoys kindergarten now too. We are so thankful that they both have this opportunity and experience while we are here for this time. We think it's so good for them.
It's quite different having both of the girls gone in the mornings. I think Micah is quite bored without his two bigger sisters around to play with. When it was time for David to go and pick up Aria and Nina, Micah was so excited. He could hardly wait for them to get home, and got out my keys and tried to unlock the door. :)

Speaking of Micah, yesterday morning he gave me quite the scare! I had just changed Heidi's diaper and laid her on our bed (Hanna was sleeping in their bed). I then quickly went to fill the washing machine with clothes before I was going to feed her. While I was in the bathroom, where the washing machine is, Micah comes walking in the room with the biggest smile on his face. When I saw him, for a second I thought, "oh, that's so cute, he's carrying a baby doll". But then I saw that the "doll's" eyes were moving. No, that was no doll, it was Heidi! Here, our 1 year old son picked Heidi up off of the bed, and carried her all the way into the bathroom! I let out a scream and quite quickly took Heidi into my arms. But you know, Heidi wasn't crying at all... she was perfectly content! And Micah, well he was as proud as could be! And really, for a one year old, he did a great job of holding/carrying her! I'm just so thankful that he brought her to me, and did not run around the apartment with her, and that he didn't drop her in the process! I learned that I can not leave a baby just laying on our bed unsupervised when big brother is around. :)

I remember when our Benjamin carried newborn Kyla around. He was 3, but it was still frightening. It's still so sweet that they love their little sisters so much!
