In this photo, Heidi is wearing the sleeper which Nina wore when we brought her home from the hospital. The sleeper fit Nina just perfect then, but on Heidi, at almost 2 months, it is still quite big! Can you see that I had rolled the sleeves up?

The twins are becoming more and more alert and we have recently noticed that they are getting better at making eye contact!

They have definitely outgrown all of their 'preemie' clothes, and are filling out their newborn size clothes quite nicely. Some of their newborn clothes are even getting too small!

At times, people have a difficult time telling the twins apart. Mostly, they look to see which one is bigger, as they know Hanna is a bit bigger than Heidi. Last evening, for the first time, someone actully guessed that Heidi was 'the bigger one' of the two!

The majority of people say that the twins look like our little Nina. :)

We applied for Hanna and Heidi's German passports yesterday. The most difficult part of the whole process was getting the girls to open their eyes wide and look at the camera for the passport photo. Whew. Glad that's over!

We are planning on making a trip to the US Embassy (which involves a 3 hour drive one way) next week to apply for their American passports, birth certificates, and SS#s. I'll be even more glad when that is over!
