Well, we were able to get most things scratched off of our long to-do list! The older children have been in bed for several hours already and the babies just had their last fill of milk for the day and are now sleeping peacefully. As we are getting up quite early to leave for the airport, I should be in bed already too, but I just wanted to post a little something real quick. :)
This past week, our older three kiddos were quite sick (especially Micah) with a touch of bronchitis. But we are sooo thankful that they are feeling so much better now! Yet, our little babies have been fighting stuffy noses and occasional coughing. We took them to the doctor today, and he gave us some medicine that should help them. We would definitely appreciate your thoughts for us tomorrow as we travel. We plan on taking a little stroller for Micah (as he likes to be carried still and he is heavy!!!) and then we'll be carrying the twins. I'm sure David's brother Dennis, who's coming with us, will be a big help!
Today was our little guy's second birthday! Hard to believe that our Micah is now 2 years old! We were not able to celebrate really, as we were quite busy getting packed and completing last minute tasks, but we'll try to have a little party sometime in the near future. Oh Micah David, how we love you! You are such a sweet, kind, and easy-going little boy. We love to hear you laugh and to see your smile. It really melts our hearts. Happy 2nd birthday, Micah!
Last Friday was Aria and Nina's last day in kindergarten. I baked them each a cake, and they had a little 'good-bye' party with their class. The teacher's and their friends were so sad to see them go. We are so very thankful for the opportunity that the girls had to 'pop in and out' of kindergarten these past several months. They thoroughly enjoyed it, and we think that it was very good for them. Here are just a few photos David took when he went to pick them up on their last day.

Will be thinking of you guys as you are traveling! Would love to be able to see you while you're at least "closer", but maybe at least a phone call or something :) Have an awesome time with your family over the next 6 weeks!
