A much better day

Just wanted to say thanks for your encouragement and thoughts. I am feeling much better today. My wonderful mother-in-law had the day off from work and volunteered to watch the three older kids for us. So, while Aria, Micah, and Nina were spending the day at Oma's, David and I got as much done as possible. David washed and cleaned the car we've been using, fixed our stroller (one of the wheels had lost a screw), did a little shopping for the kids, got a new pedal for our keyboard, and a bunch of other odds and ends. I was able to sort through all of our clothes, pack two big boxes which we will send by post (containing homeschooling books, some toys, and clothes for the kiddos to grow into), and get a good start on packing our suitcases. Of course, I also enjoyed the time with our baby girls. :D
At times, David and I can feel so overwhelmed when thinking about the future. I was just having a difficult time yesterday thinking about all the unknowns, while also trying to get things ready for us to leave in several days. This morning, David reminded me how we are not to think so much about the future, but rather just focus on today, and leave the rest in 'his' hands. We are not to worry, but rejoice always and be at peace. That really encouraged me today.
Thanks Oma for watching three of our kiddos today! It helped us out SO much! And now we can see an end in sight to all the packing! :D

Oh Christy, thanks for your honesty! I can't imagine doing what you have to do, but he gives grace for each moment. Will be thinking of you A LOT over the next few weeks. Love following your blog! Thanks for taking the time even when life is so busy!

Yeah--I've been thinking of you so much the past several days! Hang in there. I was just reading this morning, too, about not being concerned about tomorrow. Need to be reminded of that often! Happy packing :)
