Still waiting

This morning David went and talked with the immigration office, just to see if they have heard anything new concerning Hanna and Heidi's temporary residency visas. Thankfully, just 5 minutes before David got there, they had received H & H's visa applications from the office who was processing them! So, it looks like they have been accepted to receive the residency visas, for which we are very thankful!

Yet, the immigration office is not yet done processing their applications. And, they can't stamp H & H's passports with this new visa until it has all been processed. David reminded them that their present visas expire on July 6th (this coming Monday), and the lady just told them that they have quite a few people in the same situation as us... with visas expiring. So, the office has lots of paperwork to do, and they are not sure if they will be able to complete the processing of H & H's applications before the 6th. They could not promise us anything. So, I guess we are back to waiting... and hoping that the rest of the processing time goes quickly! Hanna and Heidi's passports cannot be stamped with this new visa if their present one expires... meaning, their passports need to be stamped with this new visa by 5:00 tomorrow afternoon as the office is then closed until next Tuesday, after we would already need to be out of the country.

We know that many of you are thinking about this situation with us, and we just really want to thank-you for your thoughts! It's just so wonderful to be able to come here and post something, knowing that many of you will read it and be thinking about the concern with us. Thank-you so much!

In the mean-time, we'll keep waiting... and hoping...
