Last Friday evening, David replaced the floor in our kitchen/living room. We were debating about whether to replace it or not, as it is a bit expensive, but decided to go ahead and do it. The old floor just looked so bad with the newly painted walls, as it was stained with soot from the coal, had several tears and holes in it, as well as a big empty space down the middle where the wall separating the kitchen and living room previously had been. We are so glad we did replace it, as it makes the place look so much better now! As David was putting it in, the kids, including H & H were having fun running around/playing on the new floor. So, I decided to get a few pictures. (These were taken in our 'new' kitchen.)
Then I gathered their three older siblings, who were running around, and tried to get a decent picture of all our kiddos. The only problem was, the camera battery was about to die, so it was 'rush, rush'!
"Umm... H & H, can you please get your hands out of your mouths? Micah, where's your smile?"
"Aria, please smile nicely, and Hanna... stay put, and don't stick out your tongue!"
(sigh) Should I just give up???
