Sunday was David's birthday.
Thankful for all the people who called and e-mailed David on his b-day.
I was quite sick on my hubby's b-day.
I'm feeling much better now.
We noticed Heidi's first tooth on her papa's b-day.
Her second tooth came the next day.
Hanna's still working on her first tooth.
We were able to apply for the 5-year visa.
(Should add the word 'finally' to the above statement.)
Yesterday, I felt like I deserved the "worst mom of the day" award.
I often feel lonely.
But I'm not alone.
The older 3 kids and I did different crafts most of today.
I love my family like crazy.
I wish we had our own back yard, full of grass, where the kids could run and play.
Aria and Nina are picking up a few more Russian words here and there.
The temperatures get quite cool at night, and quite warm during the day.
I'm getting excited for fall.
We are waiting for our new plastic windows, which should be coming tomorrow.
We will miss our friends, Bobbie and Jessie, who are planning on leaving next week for home assignment.
The other day, David brought me roses... just because.
That was nice.
Micah likes to sleep with David's old cell phone.
Hanna and Heidi tasted plums today for the first time.
They enjoyed them.
I feel so inadequate to be here, doing the work we are doing.
I'm thankful it's not about 'me'.
I tried to make some raspberry jelly the other day.
It didn't turn out.
We're enjoying the jar of peanut butter my mom sent in a recent package.
We enjoyed our first watermellon of the summer last evening.
Aria and Nina ate way too much of it.
Micah didn't really like it.
So far, H & H have eaten and enjoyed squash, carrots, applesauce, avocado, prunes, plums, and rice cereal.
They are the first of my babies to swallow carrot puree instead of spitting it out.
I need to find some more squash.
It's getting late.
You are probably bored reading this.
I'll say "good-night".
