The kiddos this past week

The temperatures have been slowly dropping here. Last week, I woke-up and saw that the thermometer was right at the freezing point. This week, the temperatures have been below freezing at night and into the morning. It's getting colder! (But, our apartment is SO warm!)

This past week, the kids made some beads. We just made them out of cornstarch, flour, salt and water. Once the beads dried and became hard, the kids diligently painted each one.

Then, after they were dry, we tied them to some string to make a simple decoration for their room. They are quite pleased with them! (Oh, don't you just love our plastic chandelier??? The kids like to go up on the top bunk and pull those plastic hanging things out of it, so I'm constantly putting them back in. Why, I do not know. These type of light fixtures are very common here.)

The twins were in need of some warm winter coats, so David went on a hunt for some the other day and came back all proud of his find. They definitely are warm, but are SO RIDICULOUSLY HUGE! Seriously, Nina can fit them! Oh well, they will have something to wear for the next couple of winters! (In David's defense though, they are the right size... just a very big size! He really did a great job picking them out.)

One of Heidi's favorite pass times is going over to the trash can, pulling out an empty milk bottle, and playing with it. She'll quietly sit there for the longest time happily playing with it... till Hanna comes and tries to take it away from her. (sigh)

We finally cut open our pumpkin the other day! Yummy! The girls were so excited to help me get all the 'nuts' out. As you can see, Micah was not at all interested in getting his hands messy!

The twins woke-up early from their nap one afternoon, and in order to keep them quiet while the older 3 rested, we let them play with the children's computer. (The "children's computer" is a very old computer which we have that barely works and is sooooo slow, so we let the kids practice their computer 'skills' on it. Actually, they just bang around on it. :D)

Finally, here's another little video of the twins. They were just being cute. :) They are now 11 months old!
