1) these two little cuties who are learning to do all kinds of new things,
from crawling into the lego box...

to standing up without holding onto anything!

(Big sigh.) They are just growing-up so fast!

2) the Love and Care which we are daily shown.

The other day while we were working with these little beads, Aria asked me what would happen if someone would stick one of the beads in their nose. While I was explaining to her that no, that person would not die, but it still would not be a good idea, Nina begins screaming, "I can't get it out! I can't get it out!" I look over and she has her finger up her nose. Yep. She just had to try it.
And that bead was way up there, let me tell you! I could barely see it with a flashlight, and there was no way I was able to get it out. I tried to get her to blow her nose, but she still doesn't have that skill down yet, so it was to no avail. That bead was stuck in her nose.
After convincing her that no, she was not going to die, and no, she did not need to go to the hospital, she calmed down a bit. I told her it would eventually come out, we just had to be patient. Well, that wasn't a good enough answer for her. She wanted it out... and NOW! (Can't blame her, really.)
She wanted to talk to Him about it, which I thought was an excellent idea and wasn't sure why I hadn't thought about that in the first place! So, she went first, asking Him that it would come out by her next birthday at Christmas. I then asked Him that it would come out that very day. When we were done talking with Him, I noticed her nose was runny and suggested that she try to blow her nose. She did, and in one blow, that bead was out! What excitement! Yippee! No more bead in the nose! Right away, we thanked Him for the quick answer and I reminded Nina how much she is loved and cared for, and that He is always listening to her. She was thrilled.
And no, no one has tried to stick a bead in the nose since then. =)
3) that even though they are "stuck" inside, the older three do not constantly complain about not being able to go outside, and do not continuously beg to go out. Instead, they find fun things to do together...
4) my husband. He really is my best earthly friend. I so do look forward towards the evenings when the kids are all snugly tucked into their beds, and we can just talk and talk.
I think he's just plain wonderful. =)
5) the young couple who is planning on buying our apartment. (The first potential buyer was unable to receive credit from the bank, and so we were unable to make a contract with her.) Once this young couple has all their documents ready, we hope to make a contract with them.
6) the fact that yesterday, we were able to sell an extra car bumper that we had! Yeah!
7) the love and support which our family groups have, and continue to show towards us. We got a call last week from our family group in G, saying that they wanted to send us someone(s) to travel back to Germany with us! We did not ask for that or even think about that possibility, and yet we are being provided with extra hands to help us with our kiddos and luggage! What a blessing! (It looks like they will be sending David's brother Eduard and wife Irina! =D)
