Hello everyone! Sorry it's been a little while. We are all doing well, just trying to keep our heads on straight with everything that needs to get done this week. =)

Just thought it was a bit funny when I opened the fridge this morning and saw a whole row of milk bottles. =) Guess that means we have lots of little ones in the house!

The children have been a bit restless and hyper the last couple of days. Yet, that is totally understandable. They are SO excited to go on an airplane again, and can't wait for the trip. (Their little travel backpacks filled with special little surprise treats are all packed and ready to go!) Micah, especially can hardly wait for "airplane", and is constantly saying, "it takes so long until we can go!" They also are very excited about seeing extended family again. Yet, they also know that a big change will be taking place in their lives soon, and are sad about leaving here. So, David and I are trying to be patient and understanding, while trying to keep them busy. As the majority of the children's toys have already been packed or given away, it's not always that easy. But today they found much delight in drawing roads, houses and train tracks on a cardboard box.

Tomorrow our friends, who were visiting with family and friends in the States the past 6 months, are returning! Yeah! We are really looking forward to seeing them again! So thankful that it worked out that we can spend some time with them before we leave next week!

Oh, and yes! Our apartment was officially sold last Friday! We are so incredibly thankful!!! PTL!

We are also really excited about seeing Onkel Eddie and Tante Irina this Friday! We are so grateful that they are willing to come all this way to be some extra arms for us on our trip. What a help and blessing to us they will be! We are so thankful to our family group in Germany for sending them to us!

We were sad to hear today that David's Grossma passed away last night at the age of 87. Yet, even though she will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends, we are so happy that she no longer needs to live in pain and can now be at peace. After suffering through countless strokes, she spent over half of her life in a wheelchair, not able to care for or freely express herself. Yet, she would not complain and was not bitter or angry. It's wonderful to think that now she can walk, even run and talk and sing! How wonderful!

Oh, and you know it's time to trim your baby's finger nails when your 5-year old daughter exclaims, "mommy! She has claws!"

Well, that's all for now. Better get back to packing! Yippee... can hardly wait! (That last statement is full of sarcasm, in case you were wondering.)

Thanks for checking-in with us and for all of your thoughts! Good-night!
