We made it! (updated with photos)

Just wanted to quickly write and say that we made it safely to Germany! Our 3 day journey here was nothing but exhausting, but it's now over. The older three children just did SO well. We really couldn't have asked them to have done any better with all the waiting in airports, lack of sleep, etc. The babies, on the other hand, were SO whiny and in need of being constantly held and attended to. (Totally reinforced our thought that the hardest age to travel with children is when they are a year old... and we had two of them!) David and I are SO, SO, SO very thankful for Eduard and Irina's help! We don't think we would have made it here without them... we'd still be stuck in a taxi somewhere! What a blessing they were, and we are so thankful for our family group for sending them to us!!!

Yeah, this moment of them sitting together and playing nicely in a seat on the airplane lasted about 2 minutes. (Big sigh.)

H & H got much enjoyment playing with the little trash containers on the arms of the seat. I lost count how many times we opened and closed them... but it kept them quiet... at least for 5 minutes.

We have been so warmly welcomed back here.

We arrived here Wednesday evening, and have been trying to catch-up on sleep, adjust to the 6 hour time change, unpack, spend time with family, and get settled in. Presently, we are staying at the same apartment which we stayed at last time we were here. It's an apartment owned by our family group, and they have said we can stay here up to 6 months as we look for our own place. What a blessing that is! David is busy trying to find a car for our soon-to-be family of 8, as it is difficult to go any place or do anything without a vehicle here (unlike in T-land =D).

Thank-you so much for thinking about us as we finished up things in T-land and traveled here. We can totally see His hand in the timing of everything (the selling of the car and apartment, and our trip back), and we are so thankful for how He has been, and is taking care of us. We really do miss T-land though and our friends there. They definitely have a special place in our hearts and thoughts.
