Last couple of weeks

Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of posting lately. I often think, "o.k. Today I will update the blog!" But then, it just doesn't happen. Either my "hurry-and-clean-this-while-the-kids-are-taking-a-nap" list is too long, or I have a little one who "refuses-to-go-to-bed-and-just-wants-to-be-held" in the evenings. Sigh. Oh well. I have some time now, so I thought I'd go ahead and update a few pictures which I still had on our camera. Thanks for stopping by! (Gotta go! I hear our littlest one crying!)

The other day the kids made some pictures from sand which we had colored with food coloring.

Nina made this heart for her kindergarten teacher.

Nina has been going to kindergarten for two weeks now. It is such a blessing, in that her kindergarten is literally just behind our house! It takes us less than 3 minutes to walk there. I feel better knowing that Nina is so close to us! She goes every day during the mornings. We were not crazy about sending her, but were encouraged to do so in order that she can become more fluent in German before she begins school next year. So far, she seems to be enjoying it and is doing well. She enjoys talking, so we're sure she'll do fine as far as the language is concerned. =)
Here's a photo of Nina outside of the kindergarten on her first day. Such a big girl already!

Presently, it is quite chilly and dreary outside. They say that the summer is over for the year. =( Yet, the past two weeks we had such wonderful summer weather, and we all enjoyed being outside.

David's dad made us a table and bench for outside. It's a wonderful place to have a snack or to do messy art projects and crafts!

Just thought Micah looked so cute putting a puzzle together with one of our little neighbors. =) (We are so thankful for our neighbors. Our kids have so much fun playing with the other children that live near us.) Oh, and by the way, since our move to this house, Micah has been speaking more and more German... very cute!

Oh, and here's just one more cutie...
