Dear Madelynn Amy

My precious Madelynn, a year ago today you were born.

And you were absolutely beautiful.

I was instantly so in love with you... and I still am.

You grew

and grew

getting bigger

and more beautiful every day.

You didn't seem to listen to me when I told you that you need to stay my little baby forever.

Today was your first birthday.

You really enjoyed the waffles your aunt Tina made for you.

And you weren't quite sure what to think about your cupcake.

But you enjoyed playing with it.

And eventually enjoyed eating it as well.

Oh Madelynn, we are all so in love with you!  

You bring so much sweetness and joy into our family.  

What a beautiful, precious gift you are.
