Happy Birthday, Aria! :)

Our little Aria turned '8' on Saturday!  

Aria really wanted to have a little birthday party, so we did just that!

On Friday afternoon, five of her friends came home from school with her, and we had a party!

The girls enjoyed playing outside on the trampoline,

dressing up in princess clothes,

(Seriously, this picture cracks me up! Look at all that pink! 

And one little prince behind them all! :D)

working on crafts together,

coloring,

opening presents,

smashing open a piñata,

 (which I think was a first time thing for all of the girls invited... they loved it!)

(Aria had worked hard at making the piñata several weeks before her b-day.)

and eating cupcakes and other treats.

On Saturday, her actual birthday day, Oma and Opa came and we celebrated our oldest sweetheart turning '8' over a good German breakfast.  (We took it easy the rest of the day, mostly recovering from the day's party before. Seriously, all those girls wore me completely out!!!)

Favorite Food:  Soft Tacos and Pfankuchen (Russian/German pancakes, similar to Crepes)
What she enjoys:  Putting puzzles together, playing outside with her friends, riding bike, helping her mom in the kitchen with baking, etc.
What she dislikes:  Fighting, picking-up toys, spiders(!!!), cooked carrots
What she wants to be when she grows-up:  a mama
