Micah began going to the Kindergarten right behind our house (where Nina went last year) about 3 weeks ago. (Yeah, I know, I'm just now posting these pictures! Goodness!)
David and I had debated quite some time wether or not to have Micah attend Kindergarten this year. But, after praying about it and talking with others, we felt like it was the right thing to do. We think that it will be a good help for him in getting a little further in the German language, and we want him to know as much as possible before he begins school in 2 years. (We've seen how difficult it was for Aria, jumping right into 1st grade not knowing much German, and have seen how spending a year in Kindergarten was such a BIG help for Nina.) So, our little boy spends about 2 hours every week day morning at this little kindergarten, which is practically in our back yard. (SO very nice!!)
On his first day!
Micah is still a little unsure about the whole "Kindergarten" thing. When I take him, he doesn't want me to leave, but when I go to pick him up, he doesn't want to come home! (BIG sigh) It makes it hard for this mama, who doesn't want her little ones away from home. But on the other hand, we believe that it's the best thing for him at this time.
