Summer is...

- wearing summer hats and shorts (or none at all)

- wearing sunglasses

(Note: sunglasses can also be worn upside-down... it doesn't matter)

*I asked Heidi to smile in this picture, to which she responded, "I am!" 

- enjoying snacks of crackers, apples and peanut butter on a picnic blanket

- smiles

(Can someone please tell me when my baby turned into a little girl??? 

I somehow missed it!)

- scraped knees

(which cause child to want to be carried from place to place, 

as they assure you they are in too much pain to walk... 

even when the fall occurred the previous day)

- bare baby feet in grass

(simply adorable)

- playing in sand

- jumping on the trampoline

(which proves to be so much fun, one forgets about scraped knees and inability to walk)

- sitting in a stroller underneath the trampoline

(Note: no child was jumping on trampoline while this was taking place)
