After his morning jog, David stopped at a nearby bakery on his way home and bought this wonderful loaf of raisin bread! (I guess he's tired of eating chicken soup!) I think anyone who has ever tasted German bread would agree with me that it is the best! There are many little bakeries throughout the city, selling all different kinds of breads and pastries. David and I both miss all the yummy German bread when we aren't here.Last night was not a very good one for the girls, as it included high fevers, vommitting and diareah. (sorry for being so blunt!) So today, we are taking it easy... again. I'm so ready to get back to 'normal' life... whatever that is! We are trying to be very careful with what we give the girls to eat. Yet it's hard, as they continue to ask for some of their favorite foods that are big "no-nos" right now. In the picture below, the girls are keeping busy coloring. I'm trying to keep them entertained with activities that don't require much energy... but I'm running out of ideas fast... help!

We are very excited, as today, David's Opa (Grandpa) is coming home! He has been in and out of the hospital for the last year. Hopefully this time, he will be able to stay home. (David's Opa and Oma live on the second floor, just below us.) David has visitted him several times in the hospital, and is surprised at how sharp his mind is. He even played a gave of chess with him, and Opa won! (and David didn't just let him win either!)
