Feeling better, slowly but surely

We are so thankful that the girls are finally feeling better! We sure have missed seeing them laughing and playing together this past week. They spent the majority of the week either laying on the couch or in their beds. Yet, yesterday (Friday) and today, they both have been showing more interest in their toys as well as each other. (Although, I must say, I have really been enjoying the fact that the girls wanted lots of cuddles this week!)

From the doctor, we received a list of foods that the girls can eat while they have diarrhea. Foods such as bananas, apples, potatoes, yogurt, and pretzels, have become the girls' main diet this past week. I think they are ready for something new, as Aria looked at me yesterday with longing in her eyes and said, "pizza".

Nina is doing much better, besides being tired and having a little runny nose every now and then. Aria is doing better as well, but it is obvious she is not up to 'par' yet. We are planning on having a few more quiet days so the girls can really rest up and get back to normal. Thanks so much for all of your thoughts on their behalf! Please continue to think about a full recovery for them. Thanks!

This afternoon, we decided to take the girls for a little ride around the city, just for a change of scenery and some fresh air. When we told Aria that we were going to go outside, she was so excited, as she has been inside all week. She proceeded to go get her hat and put it on all by herself! :) (She doesn't look too excited in this picture, but she was! By the way, those are pretzel crumbs by her mouth. :)

Nina spent some time this morning with me in the kitchen. It's great seeing her smile again and having fun!
