A Garden Party

Today was a holiday here in Germany. (Although, it seems like nobody really knows what for holiday it is!) All the stores, businesses, schools, and most work places were shut down for the day. So, we got together with some of our friends for a Garden party. It was so hot today, but just the same, it was great being outside. It was nice being together one more time before we leave next week.


What would a party be without food? We enjoyed the afternoon tea together, followed by lots of yummy grilled meat and salads.


Nina enjoyed playing with Joshua, who is only about 2 weeks younger than her. (Although, quite a bit bigger! Our girls are definitely on the petite side.)

Aria and Nina enjoyed spending the afternoon and evening playing outside. They were able to get lots of vitamin D and excercise!

We are keeping quite busy this week. We are finishing up last minute things before we leave, as well as packing and cleaning, and visitting with family and friends one more time. We realize that the girls know that 'something is up', as they cry a little easier and at times, just want to be held. We would really appreciate your thoughts for them! Aria finished up with her antibiotics today (which she took for her ear infection) and tomorrow, she has a check-up at the doctor's to make sure everything is o.k.
