A trip to the city's center

This past Thursday, David and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary! We were not able to do anything really special, but at least we were together. Yesterday evening, David came home with these beautiful roses. They sure are beautiful! Thanks David for being a wonderful husband! I love you!

Yesterday morning, all four of us spent a couple of hours exploring the center of the city. Where we live presently, we are quite a distance from the center, so the girls and I don’t get there very often. David was able to show me around a bit. I’m impressed with how well David already knows where everything is! It was quite a hot day, probably around 90 degrees F, so we got plenty of sunshine! I tried to get some pictures, but, as I was trying to be inconspicuous as well, I didn’t do such a good job. Here are a few photos anyway.

This is a common sight here. One could get quite depressed with all the hopelessness that is around. What a gift that we have hope! There is definitely a need here, and we feel privileged to be here.
