David's back!

We have really been enjoying having our papa/husband home with us! Thankfully, he was able to come back earlier than we thought! He returned home Thursday evening. Overall, the trip went very well, and we are waiting for our small container of things to arrive in a week or so. David really enjoyed visiting with friends again... wish I could have been there too... maybe next time. :) So, a big thank-you to all of you who thought about David on his trip and us girls here!

This afternoon, we went to a park in the city to just 'get out' for a while. We noticed this one path and decided to take it. Sure glad we did! It was beautiful being 'out in the nature' for a while. The girls did their best trying to find all the bugs that were making noises, while David and I enjoyed the beautiful fall colors that are beginning to appear. Even though it gets quite hot during the day, the nights are pretty cool. I guess this causes the leaves to begin changing color already. Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year!

On a side note, while I was outside with the girls today, I met one of our neighbors. She was so friendly and nice and we talked for quite some time. I sure hope that we can get to know each other better. Would appreciate you keeping this in your thoughts as well. Thanks!
