Our container... and other stuff

This is fairly 'old news' I guess, but since I wasn't able to post about it due to not having an internet connection, I thought I'd do that now. Yes, our container from U-U finally arrived! Exactly two weeks ago today, David, along with our co-worker, went to the nearby city of Abakan and picked-up our container, which had arrived from U-U by train. It was exhausting for the guys, as they drove over 14 hours that day through the mountains, but they enjoyed themselves just the same. They heard quite a few cultural stories from the truck driver and saw the beautiful view that nature provided. They returned quite late in the evening, and after unloading the truck, were quite exhausted.
The girls woke-up early the next morning, all excited about the boxes they saw in our living room. I'm not quite sure how, but they found their box of toys and books right away. Of course, David and I gave-up trying to sleep any more then! It was like Christmas in our house that day! Even though it was such a bother getting our things from U-U, we are thankful that we did. It's really nice having a few more kitchen things, and as it's getting colder now, our jackets and sweaters are being put to good use! Now we're all set for the cold winter!
Of course, the girls were very thankful to see their books and toys again.

And I am very thankful to have our keyboard again... we all are, actually!

Oh, and I was also very excited to see the little box that I had stored away for 'such a time as this'. The last couple of months, my waistline has been expanding and I was getting in desperate need for some more 'roomy', comfy clothes. No, it's not because I've been eating too much cabbage and fried potatoes (although that's a good guess!). We are expecting a little one in February! :D
