Today we woke-up to a dreary, rainy day. This is the first time we've seen rain since... I don't even remember! It's so refreshing seeing everything damp and wet outside, since it's been so very dry here. No, it's not quite cold enough for snow yet, which is fine with me, although the girls are getting anxious to experience the cold, white stuff again. :D
When the girls and I were outside walking around this morning, doing our best to avoid all the puddles (actually, the girls were trying to walk in them, I was trying to 'help' them avoid them), we saw something you don't see everyday. I know that the people here really like sheep, and will often kill them for a party or get together, or whatever (not all exactly sure yet). Well, we saw a truck backed up to one of the apartment's entry ways. I thought perhaps someone was getting some new furniture. Yet, instead of unloading a couch, they unloaded a live sheep, and just took it up to their apartment! Perhaps they killed it right away (although it must be quite messy killing a sheep in one's apartment) or maybe they put it on their balcony to save for an upcoming party. Either way, the girls and I felt a little sad for the sheep. :(
