Fun with Friends

I know, I've already said this several times, but we are REALLY enjoying going outside to play. It is just so much fun! Since it's warmer, there is always someone outside to play with or talk to. This morning when we were outside, several other children soon came out to join us. Their moms' said they saw us outside and they wanted to come out too! We take several toys outside with us, such as a little bucket, shovel, and truck. The other children bring a few toys outside too, and the kids all share them. Yet, I think that 95% of the 'stuff' they play with is trash and dirt. They love it! They fill all kinds of empty containers from the trash (which is lying around everywhere) with dirt, and have a blast! Today, they made a little store with all their dirt-filled containers and some old planks of wood which were laying around. We really are enjoying our neighbors and the warmer spring-like weather! It's just so good for our children to be playing with other kids, and it's a great opportunity for me to practice my Russian and Tuvan.

My special moment of the day...

I was feeling a little sad this morning (looking back, I'm not exactly sure why!). Aria, our little encourager, noticed right away. She came to me and said, "mama, can I give you a hug?" Then, with our arms around each other she said, "Mama, you are my favorite Princess!" How sweet is that?!?!
