Thank-you

We would like to thank all of you for your sweet comments and encouraging e-mails concerning our twin-pregnancy. We really appreciate all of your thoughts. You all mean so much to us!

I think now, that the reality of us being pregnant with twins has 'sunk in', we are not as overwhelmed, just super excited!!! We know that having two little babies at once will keep us busy, but we also know that it will be twice as much fun! The girls are really excited with the thought of us being blessed with 'two' babies. (Micah doesn't understand, just likes to hit mommy's big tummy and laugh. :D) Today, Nina was pushing her little stroller around with two babies in it. She proudly said, "mommy, I have two babies, just like you!"

I told someone, that even though this is my fourth pregnancy, everything seems so new, different, and a bit scary now that I know I am carrying twins. I just really need to rest in the One who is in control!

On a different note, our first day of school here begins tomorrow! All the children here in R-land will be having their first day of school tomorrow, so we decided to start then too. Nina will be doing preschool, and Aria will be doing some kindergarten things. I was busy these past several weeks looking on-line for different games, worksheets, etc. and trying to get everything ready. We don't have a kindergarten curriculum, but we do have plenty of workbooks for preschoolers/kindergarteners. I think we'll have plenty to learn and to keep us busy. The girls are super excited! Even though I think they'd rather be going to a 'normal' school, they are still looking forward to our little morning school here at home. I will try my best to make it fun for them.

For the time we are in Germany, Aria will be going to a morning kindergarten there. She is really looking forward to this, and we think it will be sooooo good for her. Not just for the social part, but also for her to be totally immersed in the German language for a while. Hopefully it will be a good experience for her. We'd like Nina to be able to go too, but for now, she's on the waiting list as all the kindergartens are full.

Also, I will be starting back with language classes this week. My language helper was in her village most of the summer, and just returned to the city for the beginning of classes. I have really missed her, so it will be great to see Snyezhana again and to get back to learning language with her. David has had language sessions on and off throughout the summer, but his language helper was also busy doing different things. It will be good to get back to a normal schedule and routine, now that school is beginning.

Oh, and on our walk the other day, the kids and I saw colored leaves which had already fallen to the ground! I just really enjoy this time of year. Fall brings such smiles to my heart! :)
