Happy Birthday, Aria! :)

Today was our little girl's 5th birthday! Aria was just so excited for this day to come, and had been counting down the nights left which she had to sleep for about 2 weeks now. We did our best to make it a special day for her... celebrating her 5 years of life and giving thanks for her!

After breakfast, they were finally allowed to open the package from Grandma and Grandpa which was sent for Aria's birthday. (It had been sitting on top of our closet for about a week already.) Mom and Dad, opening the package was definitely a highlight of Aria's day! Thanks so much for sending it, and the kids are really enjoying everything you sent! :) Oh yeah, and the kids are wearing the birthday hats which they had made for her b-day breakfast. They like stickers. :)

For lunch, we had a little cake with 5 candles for her. That is one of our kids' most favorite parts about birthdays... the cake with candles!

This evening, a few of Aria's friends from our apartment building came over for a little party. Aria was so excited about having a party with some of her friends. (Unfortunately, several of them were sick and unable to come.) They had a great time playing, eating, and just being together.

I think Aria really enjoyed her day turning '5'. She definitely was one tired little girl getting in bed tonight! Oh, how we love our little (or rather, 'big') Aria and are so very thankful for her. She is a sweetheart and we are so blessed to have her in our family! We love you so much our dear sweet Aria Lee! Happy Birthday! :)
