People keep asking how I am doing, so I thought that I would just post a little bit concerning that question. :)
Besides the normal pregnancy symptoms, I am feeling well, for which we are very thankful! There are some things that make this pregnancy different from my other three. Besides getting bigger faster (last month I gained 4 kilos and my waist expanded 7 cm!), I can get SOOOO hot! I'll be sweating in my short sleeved shirt, and everyone else in the room will be comfortably cool in their sweatshirts. This is so unlike me, as usually I'm the one who's always cold! Also, unlike my other pregnancies, I haven't had any cravings. Neither do I have much of an appetite! I would think that being pregnant with twins, one would want to eat everything in sight! But no, sometimes I make myself eat, just because I know that the babies need me to. Unfortunately, like my other pregnancies, I have difficulty sleeping. I can be extremely tired, but just lay and lay in bed for several hours before falling asleep, only to be awakened by one of the kids several minutes later. (sigh) I have a lot more aches and pains too, but that could just be because I'm older than I was with Micah. :) But, I'm not complaining at all, as I am so very thankful for these 2 precious little ones that I have the privilege to carry!
I must admit, it makes me a little nervous knowing that my pregnancy is labled as 'high risk' due to the fact that I'm carrying twins. Even though I am in no hurry to leave our home here, I do think I will breath a sigh of relief once we are in Germany closer to my doctor. Yet, I know that ultimately, these little ones are in his hands, and his hands are better than any doctor's could be!
Thank-you so much for all of your thoughts concerning our babies. We really, really appreciate them... and you! I know that people have a lot of questions for us... what about this? what are you going to do if...? etc. And honestly, we have lots of questions too! But for now, they will just stay unanswered. Presently, we are focusing on having a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and babies. We know he'll provide answers for all our questions at the right time. :)
