Christmas poem

David's family has a tradition, where, before the grandkids can receive a present from their grandparents, they need to recite a Christmas poem. David helped Aria and Nina learn their Christmas poem, and they do a great job saying it. Grandma and Grandpa, thought you might like to hear the girls speaking in German. :)

Yes, we don't understand any of it, but Jaan says that they say it so beautifully! :-)

Actually we did catch a word! Our children are learning a song which was translated from German. (Of course, we're not learning it in German, but we just recently figured out that it had come from German.) And the German title has "kinderlein" in it. Didn't Nina and Aria say that? :-) Sorry, you're probably laughing at our weak language skills, but we were excited.

Hello Phyllis, yes, Aria and Nina did say the word "kinderlein", which means little/dear child. I think it's great how many languages your children are being exposed to... and know how to speak! :)
